FocusGuard does not collect, store, or transmit your app usage data to any external servers. All screen time calculations are performed locally on your device.

Permissions We Use

Usage Access

Required to read app usage statistics for the apps you choose to monitor.
This permission is used only to calculate your daily screen time.

Notifications

Used to notify you when your daily usage limit has been exceeded.

Boot Completed

Used to automatically resume background monitoring after your device restarts.

What We Don't Do

We do not collect personal information.
We do not require an account or sign-in.
We do not upload your screen time data.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
We do not track your browsing activity or app content.

Data Storage

Your settings, selected apps, and notification preferences are stored only on your device. You can clear all app data at any time through your device settings.

Our Commitment

FocusGuard is designed with privacy by default. The app only requests the minimum permissions necessary to provide its core functionality and keeps your data entirely on your device whenever possible.

If future versions introduce optional cloud backup or account-based features, they will be disabled by default and clearly communicated before any data is shared.
